Hills, Fires & Web Design

Last weekend I did something that I haven’t done in years. I’d spent the day being briefed for a project I’m now working on and rushing about the place to get to Reading to bid farewell to my two closest work colleagues (sob). I got home and found one of my best friends and his girlfriend walking up my path carrying cider and knew it was going to be a good night.
The thing I did that I hadn’t done? Going up to the Gibbet (a famous Surrey hill where criminals used to be hanged), lighting a fire and settling down to some good ol’ craziness with Red Hot Chilli Peppers, rugs, stars and dancing shadows. It healed me and completely eradicated the stress of the day, leaving me hungover but unhindered in my mammoth task of the bank holiday weekend: more copy than you can shake a stick at.
It’s getting quite mental round here. I have so much work which is GREAT but boy is it challenging! Here’s one of my favourite recent articles about web design and conversion rate, go read it please.
Quite proud of that one.
